Dispatch Clerk – Central Stores


Job Description

  • Accurately and efficiently assemble & issue/dispatch all orders from the Stores. 
  • Receives pick lists from the Stores Controller and carries out duties as assigned.
  • Compiles orders according to approved requests and submits to the Stores Controller for checking.
  • Packs and labels orders and ensure delivery (through Drivers) to respective Departments in line with turnaround times.
  • Implements a control environment to ensure that the division’s financial records are accurate.
  • Receives goods returned from users and maintains or files issuing requisitions.
  • Participates in monthly and quarterly stock takes, arranges and labels stock items in the Stores.
  • Decides when to pack and label orders in line with delivery turnaround times and decides on the priority of goods to be issued.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 5 O’ Levels, including Mathematics and English
  • Certificate in Stores Management
  • Clear verbal and written communication and must be able to manage time
